Trevor's Senior Prom

Trevor had a great time at his senior prom. Luckily all his bad luck happened before the dance. The day before the dance Trevor got a message at school from the place he rented his tux. He called them only to find out that the tux he rented did not come in. He left school during class to go get measured and to pick out another tux. He had his heart set on a zoot suit, but he wore a very nice tux instead. Then on Saturday he went to pick up Lindsey's corsage and it wasn't made. He waited patiently while they made one for him. At this point he was pretty worried about how the rest of the night would go. We were worried for him.

When he got home from dinner. a carriage ride and the dance he was able to let us know that they had a great time! He then went to Lindsey's to watch a movie. I am so glad they had a good time at this dance. Not only because it is their last one, but because others they have gone to during High School haven't gone so well.

Lindsey looks beautiful and I think Trevor looks quite dashing! I can't believe this is his last High School Dance and before I know it he will be graduated!

Spring is here!

We are enjoying the great weather! I love this time of year. Everyone is finally over whatever colds we had floating around our house for the last few months. It is nice to have everyone reasonably healthy again.

The boys start their last term of school next week. Trevor is so excited he can hardly stand it. He is really looking forward to graduation! I can't believe Trey will be our only one left in school. Are we really, truley old enough to have two boys done with High School? And one getting married? Oh my!

Trey starts hockey at the end of the month. He will be a goalie for the High School team. He is looking forward to getting back on the ice.

Trevor is getting ready for the Chalk Art Festival. He has his idea all ready to go. He is working at Lagoon in Landscaping and for Henna doing temporary tattoos. He had training for Henna yesterday and LOVED it! Anyone who has seen his drawings knows this is right up his alley.

Tyler and Kelsey are great. Wedding plans are coming right along. Tyler has started packing boxes and sorting through his stuff, that is hard for me as a Mom! My kids are growing up so fast.

Paul and I are great. Work, sleep, work, sleep. I am looking forward to this summer when I won't be quite as busy at work.

It's Still Winter

I was hoping winter was over but this weekend proved it isn't. We have a couple inches of white stuff on the ground again. It is pretty but I am ready for spring.

Paul and I had a great time in St. George over the long President Day weekend. The weather was beautiful! It is wonderful to have such great friends! Trey had a blast at a friend's cabin that same weekend. They snowmobiled, played in the snow and ate great food.

This weekend we took it easy. We bought the game Bang! and taught the kids how to play it. It is so much fun and addicting! I love learning new games. Trey learned a new card game when he was at his friend's cabin and he taught us how to play that as well.

Middle of January

I can't believe it is already the middle of January! We had a great New Year's Eve with my sister's and their families. We missed Erica, Porter and Freddy. We even got all the teenagers there at some point during the night. They played Guitar Hero and ate whatever food they could find. We played games and it was fun to see some of the younger kids join in.

Tyler is finishing up his EMT course. The last day fo the first semester for Trevor and Trey is Friday. Trevor is getting closer and closer to graduation. He is thinking about joining the military. We are going to meet with some recruiters in the next few weeks to help him make an informed decision.

Paul is on night shift for a few months. By the time we get used to this schedule it is time for him to change again.
