Summer has arrvived!

Today is Trevor's 17th birthday. Happy birthday Trevor! We are proud of you and love you so much. Trevor got his drivers license yesterday and had a party at the house. There were kids everywhere! Tonight he is going to a concert with a few friends.

Yesterday was the last day of school. YEAH! The boys are excited for their summer. Trey had a end of year pool party at a friend's house last night.

I am looking forward to a more relaxed schedule, picnic's in the park, family events and reading this summer. I am sure Paul and the boys will get a lot of fishing in. Today Paul, Tyler and his friend Jared and Trey are at the motocross races. I won tickets from a radio station and I hope they enjoy their day out.

Trevor won second place in the Youth catagory of the Chalk Art Festival even though he had his cast on the first night. He had to start drawing with his left hand. He got his cast off on Thursday when I took him to a specailist, so he was able to finish the drawing with out his cast. Trey helped him out the first night. It was a fun event and I look forward to it again next year. My Mom, Brooke and her little girls were able to go with me when the winners were announced.

Mother's Day

We had a very eventful weekend. Saturday we were able to get some of our garden planted, sprinklers repaired, and bought and delivered two Mother's Day gifts. Sunday we had a picnic at the park. We played cards, took pictures, ate and enjoyed each other's company. It was a wonderful day. This week has been filled with doctor visits. Trevor broke his arm right before school started this year and ever since the cast has come off he has had problems with it. He hurt it again at school and we made him wait 8 days until we took him to the doctor thinking it was just the same old pain. Well Friday the 9th I took him to the doctor who said he thought it was broken again and put Trevor in a full arm cast. Trevor was really bummed because this week is the Chalk Art Festival he has been looking forward to participating in. Our family doctor recommeded that Trevor see a specialist which I took him to today. After they cut Trevor cast off and did more X-rays they sent us to LDS Hopsital for an MRI. We are awaiting results from that. At least Trevor isn't in a cast at this point and he is able to draw in the Chalk Art Festival. Tyler has been to the doctor twice this week and we are waiting for blood results. Needless to say it has been a BUSY week!

Crazy Weather

It is snowing as I type and yes it is May 1st. The weather sure has been crazy lately! Monday was beautiful and 75 and this morning we woke up to light snow on the ground and it has been snowing ever since. We haven't started working in our garden because of the crazy weather. Hopefully by Mother's Day we will be able to plant a few things.
